Ape School is the brain child of Michael Johnson. After being a part of the band member with Holopaw and then Lilys, Johnson works mainly as a solo artist these days. Johnson has also performed live and collaborated with several Indie music titans such as Kurt Vile, Daedelus, and The War on Drugs. Weaving his love for classic synths with his multi-instrumentalist skills, Johnson creates fun, moody and catchy tunes.
